We heard recently from Jacqueline's husband who informed us that sadly Jacqueline had passed away last month.

Jacqueline joined the LSF just over 15 years ago in March 2010, and during her time on the site she went on to submit a grand total of 66 serial parts and 87 stories, a substantial body of work constituting over half a million words. She was also one of the first authors we published, and her initial ebook - A Year at Collinwood's - went live in February 2013. A further 26 titles were later published.

Over the last 15 years we very much enjoyed corresponding and working with Jacqueline and she'll be very greatly missed.

That is sad news, it always is when one of us passes. I remember seeing Jacqueline’s name and work and recognised her as a significant part of the LSF.

She was a wonderful writer and person. We had one exchange of notes when I conveyed to her my admiration for her LSF e-book novel, The Corporal Punishment Officer. As compared with many of her novels and stories set in historical periods, this novel was somewhat futuristic. Her leading character, Alison, is delightfully presented and the caning scenes are very realistic. It's too bad she never used her in any other works that I know of. But that e-book novel remains one of the very best.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I'm certain she'll be awaiting you in a corner in the "nursery" we'll all likely inhabit...or at least those who need it.

Sad news. She was a talented author whose stories never failed to please. Deepest sympathies to her husband and the rest of the family circle.

I was wondering about her recently, as I'd not seen any new stories for her in a while. I always enjoyed her work immensely. A talented writer and from what I've read, a joy to know. My sympathies to her family, friends and those of us who enjoy her work.

An excellent and creative writer. She brought TTWD to life in real and creative ways. May she rest in peace. Sympathies to her husband and family.
