As one of the first guys to hit the 1000 comments mark and remembering just how barren the place was a few years ago

And now it's so damned hard even to find a chair in there. That, however, is an inconvenience we authors have no objection whatsoever to those club members enduring. Sometimes sacrifices have to be made... so long as they're not ours, of course.
