It may not be apparent, but the LSF set a new record for comments this past month. No, not the record for most total comments, which would be July, when there were 4,003 comments as compared to "only" 3,877 in September. If you compare the number of "comments per day," however, you'll find that slightly-shorter September edges July by 129.2 to 129.1.
And September reached this mark with no story challenge underway. In an earlier thread it was noted how comments on challenge stories likely boosted the totals in July (and also April, the month coming in third on the most comments list with 3,751). This makes the September achievement more impressive.
So congratulations (and thank you!) to the reader/commenters who keep IINCREASING their level of feedback to the authors. |
