All this talk about reading, writing and commenting, and look what's happened - canadianspankee has joined the 1,000 Comment Club as an author (long ago having joined the commentER's version).

Amazing! CS has been here about half the time I have, but he has outdone me as both a commenter and commentee. ("Commentee" apparently isn't a word, but I going with it.)

What do I think about that? I think we need a few more members like CS. Can we clone him?

I'm glad your very wise words to new authors have become immortalised as the LSF motto! A very good motto to live by indeed! More people should definitely take up the challenge ..
