ABBA

This has nothing to do with spanking. I came home tonight after playing a Poker tourney at my local pub and flicked onto Utube. I watched a few scenes from Pretty Woman, the Black Dress and the Necklace, then Notting Hill for the closing scence then ended up listening to Abba. So the question is - What is your favourite Abba song. For me Dacing Queen and Winner Takes it All are great but the best of all is The day Before You Came, so atmospheric.

That would be Yngwie Malmsteen's grand version of "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" (Yes, due association Swedes are allowed to make covers of ABBA), or ABBA's own single release of "Summer Night City" which I liked in my teens but sadly never made it onto any of their albums.

For me, it's a toss up between Dancing Queen and Winner Takes It All.

I'm gonna go for a real oldie: Mamma Mia. I know Waterloo started it for them, but I first remember hearing them sing Mamma Mia.

I like S.O.S (at least I think that's the title)

Definitely " Knowing me, knowing you" because despite Alan Partridge's efforts I heard it whilst I was in that teenage angst period and it seemed to speak directly to the way I was feeling.

Waen't Abba member Agnetha Fältskog billed as having 'the sexiest bottom in the world'? Slight exaggeration, maybe, but it was certainly very spankable...

Spankedjenny, the title is indeed S.O.S. That's one of my favorites too, along with Dancing Queen, Waterloo, Take A Chance On Me, and The Winner Takes t All.
PhilK, Agnetha Faltskog was indeed voted to have the sexiest bottom in the world, by Australians. Agnetha also has an amazing voice. My favorite Agnetha story is from when she was only five years old. Her father has guests over, and being proud of her vocal ability, asked her to sing for them. She stood up in front of everyone there, wearing a very short dress, and started to sing. At that moment, the elastic in her panties broke, and they fell down around her ankles.

There;s one I really like that wasn't released as a single. It's from the Super Trooper album, it was called Me and I. I believe the lead vocals were done by Frieda. Benny and Bjorn were extremely talented songwriters and musicians and wrote the music for the Tim Rice musical Chess. I think they also wrote the lyrics for the show's biggest mainstream hit One Night in Bangkok.
