Yoga pants

To again be totally politically incorrect and take the risk of giving the impression that I'm mixing real life with this haven, I'd like to dedicate a sincere and bottomless thanks to the inventor of the yoga pants. For the first time in modern history we are blessed with a fashion in which women by free will dresses in extremely tight and figure hugging pants that reveals every beautiful curve of their rears (this is the part when everybody is supposed to go 'hear, hear!!' and 'Yaaaayy!!'). This past year yoga pants have had a massive breakthrough in Sweden and the world looks so endlessly much more beautiful than before. Suddenly it has become a blessing just walking around aimlessly downtown, even if you have no business to attend to. Note, usually I'm annoyed with people insisting on wearing certain dresses or outfits if they do not practice the activity that they are dressed for, but in this case I'm more than willing to make an exception. It seems as if no one actually practices yoga from what I understand, but that doesn't really matter; I'm fine with this. I think it's about the first time in my life that I've been in favor of a new fashion. Or, for all it matters, the first time that I'd ever paid attention to fashion.

No, really, who am I kidding with this?! I'm just looking at arses as always!

Did Sweden miss the skin tight jeans of the 80s (and beyond). Many, many women willingly squeeze(d) themselves into those.

With all the men relentlessly cheering them on.

I seem to recall the ever lovely Swedish woman, Agnetha Fältskog of ABBA fame, wearing some rather form fitting pants and shorts showing off that rather shapely bottom of hers

Yes, outstanding as well, but somehow I prefer the soft and stretchy yoga version, I don't know why. Maybe because in my mind they are closer to the skin and more revealing, while the jeans are more like a package outside and do not follow the curves up the crack as easily. There were (and are still) however some outstanding jeans models which greatly shape even the most unwilling bottom into a wonder that seems to cry out to be smacked.

Tightfitting pants for women have been around for quite some time,ever since pants wearing by women became more commonplace. Even back in the 50s, understand something called toreador pants were a fad at one time.
Tight blue jeans obviously, and when fitness and exercise became the thing for modern women, we saw the emergence of those wonderfully sexy supertight spandex pants for running and aerobics. Now spandex shorts, supertight and often very short are often seen, even on high school girls running crosscountry and track. Some of the more hefty girls who participate in events like shotput and discus threaten to split out of the ones they have squeezed their ample bottoms into!
No doubt about it, today's ladies like to show off and call attention to their bottoms, much to the pleasure of those of us on spanking sites, who can spend time talking about them!

Ah! Yes, those were the days! I loved that, but they were very rarely seen in public here, mostly used indoors in gym only. That seems to have had a break through now however, as the yoga pants have paved the road. Life is getting better and better.

As you say, it brings a certain shine to the world for us spankos, gives us something to talk about and just maybe it'll help more people realize the pleasures of a rosy bottom.

Guess exercise fashions are a bit different in Sweden. Spandex pants on runners, and of course the equally tight bicycle shorts quite commonplace over here.
Of course, it has been said that there is nothing like a tennis dress to make a woman look sexy.Whoever said that had a point, especially if the skirt is short and flippy and she exposes a pair of sexy tennis panties!

Ooh, don't even go there! If we start talking short tennis dresses I'll go completely immature and start using two syllable words only...

Why else would one go to the gym? The fact that these garments have escaped the bounds of exercise and into general fashion can only be a good thing.
