Validating

Here in England its just after 6am and as usual I fire up the PC to check emails and the like and check in at LSF. Great, there are new stories, obviously loaded over night. Then I notice that a number of them have already been validated. Who is this super efficient validator - our friend Elorac. We all know that Februs and Flops are tireless in their support of this site, without them it wouldn't be here but I just thought I would give a 'well done' to the validators and specifically Elorac.

They all do a great job. Thanks people, know that we appreciate the work.

I fully endorse Samslipper's comments. Elorac has managed to validate by my count no fewer than 11 stories before I even noticed they were there. Does the woman ever sleep? And somehow she also finds time to write great stories herself (and sing an odd song or two). Amazing. So I would like to echo Samslipper's thanks to Elorac all our other validators for doing such a fantastic job.

BashfulBob - in answer to your question, no I don't sleep anywhere near enough and often find myself visiting my favourite website in the wee small hours. Thank you for your encouraging words about my writing and singing too.
I am honoured to be part of this brilliant team and we all work together to make it work as efficiently as it does, so it's truly teamwork!
I do work full time, both out on site and significant preparation at home, but this does give me time to indulge myself by reading, writing and validating on many occasions during the day and evening, or in the middle of the night!

Many thanks to Elorac, Janine, Spankedjenny, Dave, RosieRad and the entire validation team (in case I missed anyone) for their totally volunteer efforts towards making this Library function the way it does. Authors get a lot of acknowledgement, and even the reader/commenters, but the work of the validators should not be overlooked. Well done, team!

Thank you to our validators for their tireless work. I also like whoever writes the short synopsis they post on the stories, they are quite helpful.

That would be the validators as well. It's not a small job.

Now I feel like such a "slacker validator" since my turnaround time lags far behind Elorac's! Stop making the rest of us look so bad!

Oh no! I don't want my obsession with the library and my eager efforts to make others feel bad!!!!
I really am obsessed and visit many times a day, in between my million commitments, and I am in a fever until I get my validations completed - sorry folks!
