We (meaning I) have often recognized authors here for reaching milestones for numbers of comments and "favorites" received on their stories, and readers for the milestones on numbers of comments made, but I've been remiss in not recognizing equally impressive milestones reached by our validators. Somewhere in the not-too-distant past, three of our esteemed validators have surpassed the thousand mark in the number stories they have validated. They are (drum roll please!):

- dundee47
- bendover
and
- Dave

For those who don't know what validators do, check out the Library procedures at:

In other words, it's an important function without which the Library would be as special as it is. And these three unsung heroes of the LSF join just a handful of others (PinkAngel, corncrake, Linda, flopsybunny and Lincoln) in reaching this incredible milestone.

Well done! oh, yes, and THANK YOU.

Rick, thanks for bringing that up. I miss it. I felt like I was giving something back. For personal reasons I had to stop for a while. It takes time to do and I also appreciate those who validate right now. Great job all.

I have always thought that the validators never get the credit they deserve, so thanks to Rick for bringing this up and of course many thanks to dundee47, bendover and Dave for their titanic efforts on our behalf. Awesome.

I also greatly appreciate the work our validators do. They work behind the scenes and therefore sometimes fail to get the recognition they deserve.

It's been my pleasure. The validation affords the opportunity to read numerous great stories that I likely otherwise would miss.

Thanks for the thanks, all.

Glad to see you post this info, Rick; the validators are, indeed, the unsung heroes of the LSF. My thanks to all of them for their work.
