Congrat to islandcarol

Did anyone happen to notice that islandcarol has become only the seventh reader/commenter to have made over TWO THOUSAND comments on stories? (anyone besides ME, that is) Well, she DID, and I think that's pretty amazing. As a recipient of a fair number of those comments I wish to give a big THANK YOU. Congratulations, islandcarol on this monumental achievement.

IC's comments are among my favorites. I appreciate all comments! But when I get a comment from someone I respect as a writer, how can I not sit up and take special notice?

From IC I always know that I'm about to hear something from a slightly different perspective. Often I learn something. Sometime she honestly tells me what she didn't like about a story, and those can be some of the most useful comments of all.

Congrats, IC. I am in total agreement with the others. I love to hear from her on my stories.

Well. favorite writers of mine, I appreciate your sweet wishes and have enjoyed all our conversations concerning plots, characters and personal dramas. It has all been wonderful; what a great community we have and everyday there are opportunities to communicate and enjoy each others company and quirky sense of humor. It has been two years since I've become active on this site and I have enjoyed every comment and every hour. There is never a boring moment. Thank you for you wonderful wishes everyone!

Two thousand comments in two years — that's about three every single day! And they are not just ordinary, run-of-the-mill comments; they really have something specific to say about each individual story!

What more is there left to say?
When a respected writer takes the time and trouble to comment, we all benefit
- the authors in that they may learn from an informed opinion,
and also prospective readers looking for recommendations and good stories.
