I posted about this on the Burgundy thread but amazingly it didn't seem to go anywhere. So.......here we go in a thread of its own: What happened to CK?

I haven't seen him anywhere, including my own blog. Considering the depth and intensity of his participation here and elsewhere, his current prolonged absence is ............worrisome. Like REALLY worrisome.

I can't seem to even pick up on any sort of contact information like a working email. CK is not a minor player here. He has been a loyal, dedicated participant, not only writing but leaving detailed commentary on all of our stories. And he's a good friend. (He's certainly not a grumbly pain-in-the-ass like I am, so I can't understand why his absence hasn't generated more concern. )

Please.....does ANYONE know ANYTHING? Has anyone tried to contact him? Does anyone have contact information?

According to the members' list, he was last on site 49 days ago. Rather more of an absence than usual, yes, but not unthinkable given all the Christmas/New Year malarkey. Still, would be good to know that he's ok and still around.

I hope so. And if he just went on some hiatus or extended vacation without saying, "hey everybody, I'm going to be away for a while. So don't worry if you don't see me around." I'm going to 'cyber-kick' his butt when he gets back!

I disappear for long stretches without being dead. Give CK some time. I'm sure he'll turn up.

Thanks, ChardT. I do recall him being gone before......but this one just seemed somehow longer and more cryptic. Hopefully he'll be around soon.

I've been a little worried too. He is such a nice man.

I have similarly been worried. As far as I know he hasn't posted a new story in ages. I love his stories.
