Mouth soaping

Mouth soaping of children in my opinion is brutal and dangerous and should never be done. With that said I will admit to have some erotic feelings when an adult woman is punished with the soap. There are many methods of soaping - bite and hold the bar, soap applied with a tooth brush or a wash cloth are standard.

My scenario is a proud, well dressed woman is escorted to the bathroom by her husband for using bad language. We have lots of conversation but she can't get out of it. Her mouth is washed out with soap and we have a repentant woman promising never to use bad language again as she coughs and spits trying to get the awful taste out of her mouth.

I never experienced having my mouth washed out with soap, if I said a "bad word", I generally got slapped.

Getting your mouth washed out with soap was automatic for using "bad words" or lying to my parents. A bar of Ivory soap would be lathered up and then inserted into my mouth and raked back and forth a few times. It tasted awful and it lasted for at least a day because little bits of soap would get caught in between your teeth.

Then, at least half the time you could count on a good spanking with the hairbrush depending on who or how you had used the "bad words" as well as the severity of the lie you told.

Oh yeah, and because you were wailing and crying from the spanking, the saliva produced in your mouth only intensified the awful taste of the soap.

I'd agree. I've never used mouth-soaping, either in my stories nor in real life. To my mind, anything that distracts the spankee's attention from what's happening to her bottom just detracts from the experience.

Parents can be monsters.

It was a very common practice in the 60s and 70s when I was growing up. It was usually used for bad language and I always found it exceedingly unpleasant which of course means it was pretty effective! I've never really incorporated the actual practice into any of my stories but Shelly Brooks has been threatened with it a few times.

Well kids have to learn how to be monsters from someone.

A bar of soap can also be use to keep a spankee quieter during a spanking.

Never happened to me but I know my younger sister got it once for lying to our mother. She was probably 8-9 at the time so this was somewhere around 1974. My brother and I watched from the hallway as she dragged my sister to our shared bathroom.

She kept hold of her with one hand while she ran a toothbrush under the sink and then lathered it up with soap. If I remember correctly it took a couple of swats on the butt to get her to open up and get her mouth swabbed out. It probably only lasted 10 seconds at most and then she was desperately trying to get the taste out of her mouth. I'm sure we were total assholes and teased her about it afterwards (what are big brothers for?).

My mother did do this to us when we were teenagers and presumably knew not to use bad words. It was shaming and made us feel like little children, aside from the discomfort.
I was fascinated, however, by the additional use of soap as punishment in profken's Parental Improvement Program serial, where the student disciplinarian punishes a second offense of use of improper language with anal insertion of soapsticks.
