To barrathunter. Miss Evans taught history and geography, and that had an influence on my life, because when I grew up, I managed on my vacation throughout the years I worked, to have visited, yes over 140 different countries of this great world of ours. Such as walking on the Great Wall of China. Seeing the Egyptian pyramids, and India's Taj Mahal. Yes I would admit she was an influence on my life. And Yes Wow? I sure would have loved to have pulled her 'directoire knickers' down, and caned that bare bottom of hers so painfully and lovingly, in my fantasy.

My object of desire taught Maths and Science (Physics and Chemistry) and led a bit of P.E. for the girls. She also supervised trips to the swimming pool (we didn't have our own), but unfortunately didn't get into swimming gear and jump in. She did stand dangerously close to the edge, though, to check we were safe, her magnificent hindquarters sticking out, and I fantasised about giving her a good kick up them and propelling her into the water where no doubt she would find she couldn't swim unless she removed that supertight skirt!

Her influence on me? Well, she was a good teacher, but these were not the subjects I liked best (aside from her arse), so I think her influence was almost entirely on my sexual preferences. I wasn't at all the only one to have fantasies about her, and we boys shared ideas about an experiment to see if she was a woman (I thought I knew the answer, but she'd taught us not to take anything for granted without proof) and about her skirt falling down or splitting as she bent. Ah, happy, non-innocent days!

I notice that several of my little trips down memory lane and those of other contributors to this thread appear in a blog called simplyslippering. blogspot.com. I don't mind my words being republished (although I usually charge a fee) it's just I wouldn't like anyone to think that the rather masculine looking woman in the photos was a member of my immediate family! PS Look under December old and favoured questions.

Well I for one am less than impressed .. and shall be asking whoever the "owner" is to remove it.

Spanking for me is not a fetish. I fetish by strict definition:

fet·ish   /ˈfɛtɪʃ, ˈfitɪʃ/ [fet-ish, fee-tish]
–noun
1. an object regarded with awe as being the embodiment or habitation of a potent spirit or as having magical potency.
2. any object, idea, etc., eliciting unquestioning reverence, respect, or devotion: to make a fetish of high grades.
3. Psychology . any object or nongenital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation.

I was spanked as a child and it has carried through to my adulthood. I am not an age player, a scene player, nor do I care for erotic spanking. I am only spanked when I misbehave or when I am in desperate need of grounding in my life. Other than that I am a boring person, lol.

1) I do not feel spanking has any "magical power".

2) I am not devoted to it nor do I seek it out or hold it in any sort of reverence.

3) I have no erotic thoughts and am not fixated on it.

I know that spanking is different things to people and that for the vast majority of people it is sexual and a kink.

So where exactly did it all begin? I don't think it ever really stopped. My parents spanked me as a child and well into my teens. My father spanked me the last time when I was 19. I was home for a week and got pissed. He didn't care for that.

When I met Adam we sort of ended up broaching the subject within a few weeks. He said I made his palms itch and I (stupidly) told him to scratch it. There have been times when I have gone to him and asked for a spanking but he just always seems to know when I need one even if I don't.

There is apparently a world separating those who do view this as a fetish and those who do not and yet I enjoy reading the stories here as much as I do the ones written striclty as punishment. Go figure.

I think that what most spankophiles have is not a fetish but what psychology calls an SSI, a specialized sexual interest. That is to say, most of us don't need spanking to become aroused but we prefer it.

Just as someone who likes ice cream can enjoy vanilla but would prefer chocolate when given the choice.

Whew! That sure makes me feel so much better. I always wondered if I was some sort of prevert, but now I can tell people I'm just special. Now... I think I'll go out and get ice cream... chocolate, or perhaps rocky road...

I may not know what I am, but I've got a great vocabulary.

Njrick,

Do you really want to be known as special? Nowadays "special" is used to refer to people who were formerly known as retarded, as in Special Olympics. Perhaps you could call yourself a specialist.

I guess you didn't hear the tone of voice with which I typed.
