It's amazing how clever modern phones are, possibly even spookily so.

I was sending a text to arrange for a man to come to tow my broken down car to the garage, and in the preamble to suggesting a time I was saying perhaps unnecessarily that clearly we'd have to be home when he came.
I typed 'Obviously we need to be... ' and the word the phone's predictive text supplied as the most likely next choice was 'spanked'

Does my phone know something? I don't think I have used that phrase in text before. Dashed clever these things.

Gotta watch those phones! I have texted some pretty embarrassing things by going too fast and not reading before sending. I've never said THAT though.

On the iPhone you can prevent this in the following way:

1. From the Home Screen tap "Settings"
2. Scroll to and tap "General"
3. Scroll to and tap "Keyboard"
4. Enable "Prediction"
5. Disable "Kinky Predictions"

Hope this helps. cindy2

I find it safer not to have one. Cheaper as well.

If I type 'sp...' on my phone its predictive text immediately suggests 'spank', 'spanking' and 'spankable' as the prime options. Words like 'special', 'spare' or 'spend' come well down the list. It definitely has me sussed.

My experience is the complete opposite. In order to type in "spank" or "spanking" I have to insistently type in the whole word. The predictions are spitefully vanilla and it feels like the phone is actively AVOIDING "spank" as the logical choice, especially since that word gets typed in by me often enough. You'd think the phone would have learned that "spa___ " written by me in the context of a punishment would not be "spare" or "spark" or "spat".

I'm not sure where you folks bought your kinky phones, but mine is hopelessly vanilla.........and even prudish.
