I wonder if anyone might like to join in with an idea I had (which might be fun to do, but there again might not) The plan is to have a LSF community choir (read "drunken singalong round the library piano") for a suitably doctored version of a Christmas song, viz. Ruby the Red Arsed Spankee.

How it will work is that hopefully a number of folk will join in and record themselves singing along to a backing track I'll either steal or presuade one of you to play on your kazoo/swanee whistle/sherry-bottle-organ). Then I'll assemble it all.

It will only be fun if there are a reasonable number of you ( although more work for me ) and I will stress that you don't have to be able to sing well, just be willing to have a go ( and have a microphone attached to your computer)

Any takers? please send me a pop up and we'll talk further.

Cheers

Ollie

Sorry, I am not that advanced with my computer. No microphone as well.

I don't have the equipment either. One day I'd like to remedy that.

Count me in, but I'd need to get the background track within the next week.

I have a few backing tracks you could use but they're all quite heavily arranged. Anyway, happy to send them if you need them...

Thanks Febs, I've sourced a suitably light hearted one on nose flute and ukelele. The project is up and running as I have received some volunteers.

No such luck. Even though I have absolutely no idea what you're talking about. None whatsoever.

I was thinking along those lines too. he he

As for singing... no equipment. Also I try to make it a point not to subject anyone to my singing, as it's beyond bad.

Sounds perfect for this project! Too bad you're not equipped
