"Big Bang Theory" Spanking

I was watching "The Big Bang Theory" tonight and at the end of the episode Sheldon spanks Amy for lying to him about being sick. Well, you only see one spank but the conversation that goes on is hysterical. The episode is called "The Fish Gut Displacement". The fish guts have to do with the other story line, not the spanking.

Aw, I missed it!

I never really pictured Sheldon as a spanker.

There's indications that Sheldon knows all about being spanked. He is from Texas after all and his mother is a religious fundamentalist.

He prefixed things by pointing out that his father (who died shortly before season 1) was never one to spare the rod.

That, and he thought that spanking was much less harsh than being forced to miss the opening night of the next Star Trek movie.

Not the sexiest spanking scene ever, but what do you expect from Sheldon?

It's mostly funny in that Sheldon clearly has no idea that there is any other context to spanking than discipline where as Amy is obviously turned on at his first suggestion of corporal punishment.

Yeah, I watched it last night and was surprised by Sheldon's insistence on punishing Amy. When she asked if he wanted to spank her and he replied in the affirmative, the expression on her face was priceless. Then the actual spanking, which was one smack on camera and then another with the camera on Amy's delighted face. Pretty tame but a good start. It immediately got me thinking of a story...

LOL, it was such a funny scene I thought. She in a Shades of Grey frame of mind, he obviously not!
