Well, I like peanut butter and jam, provided the jam is tart and not sickly sweet. I also love vegemite and prefer it to the British marmite. By the way, the best jam I ever tasted (several varieties) was Norwegian.

Tee hee...'Tis true, I cannot abide vegemite, but consume peanut butter and jam like there's no tomorrow!

Love peanut butter and jam, especially if it is apricot jam, also good with syrrup, golden syrrup that is. At boarding school in the 60's they used to give us vegimite and bovril as a hot drink at night
used to pour it down the drain, horrible stuff almost as bad as cod liver oil

When Americans say jelly, what flavour jam does it refer to? Anyone got the idea this has gone off topic?

LOL Rick. Bovril? I had a friend at work who used to drink that and the smell was enough to make me gag. I love vegemite on a sandwich, but to drink the stuff. Ergh!

I'm not sure it is off topic. Covering a bottom in jam, caning it and sharing licking the jam off the cane, anyone? Mind you, it would use an awful lot of jam.
