(and I would note, for the record, that, although I've posted 267 comments, Blimp has posted 284. And I won't even MENTION the ungodly number of posts by our illustrious library staff)

And most of your posts seem to contain suggestions that would involve even more hard work for our already overworked library staff. The very least you might do NJ is send them a case of sherry now and again!

PS I always find the Library Staff most helpful (with of course, one notable exception!)

But I DO. I buy a case of the very cheapest sherry I can find, package it safety for transport, and then address it:

Kilahara Library of Spanking Fiction
Scotland

When I mail it, though, it keeps being returned, stamped "addressee unknown"

What am I doing wrong? Should I be emailing it?

And here I thought that EVERYONE named... well... you know (I'm not going to say it HERE)... was Scottish. You learn something new every day.

Liking for strong drink, penny pinching, quarrelsome, pessimistic, ritual dislike of the English! But of course we know those are all myths and personally I think you couldn't hope to meet a nicer bunch! I should avoid working for them though as they are absolute slave drivers! That is why everyone thought Februs was Scottish I expect!

Well to be fair to NJ. Februs has you down as Scottish and he had me down as Irish for ages! So the flags are not always accurate! In any case as a MAN U supporter he could be from anywhere, other than Manchester of course.

Well, now that you mention it.... no. As a proudly ignorant American, the only flag from the British Isles that I recognize is the Union Jack. But perhaps if I had read "England" beside his name, I may have had a clue.
