Spanking Story Achievements

I was just reading the list of spanking story terms by author VicArious, and it got me thinking about recurring elements in spanking fiction. So, I thought it might be fun to come up with another list, of tropes or "achievements" to award to stories that contain certain things. Basically, you can play Bingo with these while you read.

Here's what I've got so far. Please contribute your own, and I'll add them to this post.



A Day at the Office: the story is set in a world where spankings are commonplace and accepted.

A Girl Has Got to Eat: the spanking is commercial in nature.

(All) Over My Knee: the spankee has an orgasm during the spanking.

And Then She Got Spanked: the spanking scene seems to have nothing to do with the rest of the story.

Armed to the Teeth: three or more implements are used, not including the spanker's hand.

Baby Got Back: the spankee's bottom is described in loving detail.

Back in My Day: the story has a historical setting.

Free for All: four or more bottoms get warmed.

Here's to You, Mrs. Robinson: erotic spanking takes place between two characters of very different ages.

I Have No Mouth and I Must Spank: the story contains no dialogue.

I've Been Naughty: the spankee manipulates the spanker into doing the deed.

Injustice is Sexy: a character is spanked unfairly, or for something s/he didn't do.

Jacqueline Carey Award: the story contains fantasy elements.

Keep 'Em Coming: three or more characters are spanked by one spanker.

Meanwhile, in Khazakstan: the story is set in some remote, lawless corner of the world.

More Equal than Others: the story asserts that one sex is superior to the other.

Painful Enlightenment: the spankee learns some sort of major life lesson.

Resistance is Futile: the spankee starts out unwilling, but then discovers he/she likes it.

Robert Heinlein Award: the story contains science fiction elements.

Running the Gauntlet: one character is spanked by three or more spankers.

Surprise Sex You Didn't Know You Wanted: a rape occurs, but is downplayed.

Thank You Sir, May I Have Another: the story contains additional BDSM elements.

This isn't What You Think: a scenario turns out to be roleplay.

Tit for Tat: the spankee totally has it coming by the time it arrives.

Uncomfortably Ever After: the story has a romantic ending.

We Have to Go Deeper: a scenario turns out to be a dream or fantasy.

Note that these can be positive, negative, or neutral.

I am challenged. Lets just see what the muse sends by way of virtual paper and I will post the results. Of course there will be the catch of them being boy/boy or maybe girl/girl if I can convince Molly and Chloe to play.

OK, I'll cross-post some addenda to your list and mine:

Ambivalence: In which the heroine has an admixture of feelings, pro and con, without a final conclusion.

Casus spanki: The usual ones (smoking etc. etc.); or unusual ones.

Mild-exhibitionism: by the f in question: semi-intentional, semi-accidental, or unintentional. (E.g., "7 Year Itch" scene could be combination of all of them.) Dovetails with pe category in my list. I omit flaunty-exhibitionism, not as titillating, IMHO.

Mild-friendly-spanking: Self-explanatory; could garnish a story, but not sustain it.

Movie-improvement (mainstream): How certain scenes could be embellished. Not quite fan-fic; e.g., I'll be posting a few paragraphs about "The Parent Trap" (1960).

Paint-by-numbers: a story so banal it might have been produced by the machine in George Orwell's Pornosec. (Except that I wouldn't have kept that story in the first place, so it's an unused category.)

POV: Point-of-view: whether written first-person by the top or bottom, or third person observer.

SWL: Spank-with-love (from a website title): story especially notable for that element, i.e., not the wicked stepmother type (which could be dubbed Spank with Grimm, a story I wouldn't collect, unless redeemed by other characteristics).

Undressing-redressing: Particular attention to that detail, e.g., loose garment and no panties preferred in the aftermath.

I suggest also:

The World Turned Upside Down: The spanked person isn't the one you'd expect, or the spanker gets spanked;

Knocked off the Pedestal: The spanked person had authority or pride, while the spanker was someone that authority or pride was exerted on.

SNM, I showed Adam what you had down for this and he said sure we could do most of them. It will take a bit though as we are currently working on another story.

And Then John was a Zombie: none of the characters have any discernible personality.

A Rod of Iron: the story contains religious themes.

Marquis de Sade Award: the spankee is spanked until he/she bleeds.

It Takes a Village: the story contains the phrase "next-door neighbor."
