Well, I hit in the "2K" mark in 'comments received' back in September, but as long as this milestone reached has been mentioned again, my thanks to all who congratulated me on it--both back then and today.

As for my posting of comments on stories, I haven't been doing much reading (and therefore commenting) here lately, due to distractions in that pesky real-life physical existence, but I hope to become more focused on that again soon.

Looking at turk's remark, I'm wondering if an author's making pop-up responses to comments posted affects what stories a reader may decide to comment on. In my personal case, I'd venture that it does indeed, at least to a modest degree...
